Emerald Coast Research Associates (ECRA) Emerald Coast Research Associates is a clinical research facility located on the beautiful Gulf Coast in Panama City, Florida. We are privately owned and dedicated to the conduct of outpatient medical research. We rely on volunteers to populate our research studies and we truly believe that our volunteers are Medical Heroes. Without clinical trials and the patients who volunteer for them, there would be no new medications. As a research participant your contribution is significant, and helps to advance innovative and exciting new medical treatments. 

Our team of coordinators have over 30 years combined professional research experience conducting pharmaceutical research in a safe and controlled environment, over multiple therapeutic areas. Our physicians are licensed and hold board certification in their specialty fields. Each physician maintains a private practice as well as working as an investigator with Emerald Coast Research Associates. Our commitment is to provide consistent and high quality care for each patient in a professional and compassionate environment. 

ECRA supports our community by serving as Interagency and Health Task Force members. We are involved with the local chapter of Better Breathers and the American Lung Association. Since 2007 we have volunteered our time and medical services at a local medical clinic that provides free care to patients in need. ECRA meets community needs by performing various screenings at local health fairs and by frequently speaking and sponsoring lunch and learn events aimed at educating the community about research.
